SEIFSA BURSARY

SEIFSA which stands for Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern Africa was first established 1941 although it was known as the South African Federation of Engineering and Metallurgical Associations (SAFEMA), in Bloemfontein and later in Cape Town in 1942. SEIFSA is today an employer which represents the sector of engineering and metal.

The main mission of SEIFSA is to advocate for innovative development within the engineering and metal industry in South Africa.

SEIFSA BURSARY DETAILS

SEIFSA bursary is intended for undergraduate students in engineering field of study. Bursary options that are available are as follows:

• Industrial Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Metallurgical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Materials Science

SEIFSA Bursary Value

SEIFSA bursary covers the following expenses:

• tuition fees
• textbooks
• transport
• accommodation

Bursary Obligation

Upon study completion and graduation, bursary recipients are expected to assume employment within the  the steel and engineering manufacturing sector at a company in the country.

Bursary applicants are picked on basis of their academic performance.

Who Can Apply?

Be A South African citizen
Be 35 years of age or younger
Have finished Matric OR currently doing Matric
Must have passed with of 75% for Matriculation
