Nampak Bursaries 2020 - 2021
The bursary award will pay the following student expenses:
- Tuition fees
- Books
- Meals
- Accommodation
- Monthly allowance
Nampak bursary recipients are required to participate in vacation work at one of Nampak’s Tissue Making Mills. This will be arranged for university holidays. Students are expected complete their in-service training during the 3rd year of studies.
Nampak Application Requirements
Students who submit their application must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
- Be a South African
- Completed Matric
- Must have achieved a minimum “C” symbol for Mathematics & Physical Science
- Plan to study a full-time Pulp & Paper Technology
- Enroll at Durban University of Technology
- Very Strong technical & analytical abilities
- Be a hard worker
- Be willing to work night shift in the production area
- Applicants from previously disadvantaged areas will be given first preference
