Sanral Bursary 2021
Sanral is awarding bursaries for the year 2019 to student who are serious about their education and want to acquire a qualification from one of higher institutions of learning in South Africa.Sanral Bursary Value
The bursary award will cover the following study expenses: tuition fees, registration, prescribed books, study equipment, compulsory seminars and excursions, accommodation, food and a living allowance.Who May Apply?
South African citizen
Studying or planning to study towards a Civil Engineering (BEng/ BSc) degree qualification
Registered or planning to register to study at a South African recognised Tertiary Education Institution
Matric students must have achieved a minimum result of 70% for Physical Science, Mathematics and English
1st year students must have achieved a minimum result of 70% for Science and Mathematics, studying towards a Civil Engineering (BEng/ BSc) degree qualification may also apply
Preference will be given to disadvantaged students, who have completed their 1st year of study (undergraduate) OR registered for 2nd to 4th year or postgraduate studies
Have NOT failed any subjects/ modules for the current year of study
NOT currently receiving any other bursary funding or financial assistance from another institution
Who Can Apply?
You must be a South African citizen
You should be studying towards a Civil Engineering (BEng/ BSc/ postgraduate) degree qualification
Studying or registering to study at a recognised South African university
Preferably completed your 1st year of study or registered for your 2nd/ 3rd/ 4th year/ postgraduate
1st year students will only be considered if they provide strong motivation
Matric students will only be considered if they have achieved a minimum result of 70% for Mathematics, Physical Science and English AND registered to study at a recognised university
Have NOT failed any subjects/ modules for the current year of study
Proven financial need
NOT currently receiving any other bursary funding or financial assistance from another institution
Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged students
