BURSARY INFORMATION - AFROX

Afrox makes opportunities in a form of a bursary available and accessible in order to assist applicants studying within the faculty of engineering. Applicants for Afrox bursaries must have exceptional academic results and be able to prove that they have reduced financial ability and resources. The bursary recipient must have successfully completed (and excelled) in their first year of study in one of the following fields:

• Chemical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Metallurgical Engineering

Bursary Value

The Afrox bursary covers for the following

• tuition fees
• textbooks
• accommodation fees and 
• food

The bursary is valid for one year only and is renewable but subject to academic results and vacation work (during June-July and December-January vacation).

Afrox, a Linde Group parent company, is responsible for managing Afrox bursary scheme. Bursary recruitment is in line with the company’s needs.
