About Siemens Bursary Programme
Siemens
makes available R1-million per year in bursaries for students studying
engineering at universities and technikons, of which more than 80% is
awarded to students from historically disadvantaged backgrounds. Students do not have to look for personal loans to pay for their studies.
Fields of Study Covered by the Siemens Bursary
The bursary is awarded to applicants who are enrolled or intending enrolling on:
- Electrical Engineering (B.Eng/ BSc)
- Industrial Engineering (B.Eng/ BSc)
- Electronic Engineering (B.Eng/ BSc)
Bursary Value and Benefits
Siemens bursary covers tuition fees, hostel fees, book allowance
PERIOD
1 year renewable
Institutions
Any university within the borders of South Africa.
Required Supporting Documents
The following documents must be included:
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- ID document (certified copy)
- Full tertiary academic record (certified copy)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Motivational letter
Who Can Apply?
Students who are studying engineering at university or university of technology (Electrical / Electronic, Computer)
Contractual Obligation
After completion of studies, graduates will be required to work for the company
