Description

For an Intern position, candidate must be working towards a relevant Bachelor's or Master's.

The successful candidates role will include:

Supporting and creating consumer sales and marketing programs for / with Technology Retailers / Telco and PC manufacturers.
Supporting the team in the coordination and management of consumer sales and marketing events.
Periodical adaptation of global assets, tools and activities to local market.
Managing distribution, maintenance of retail assets, POPs, tools to Retail / Telco purchase points and reporting.

Qualifications
 You must be a student currently pursuing a university degree in your final year in Business Administration, and/or Computer Science and/or Engineering (Electrical or Industrial) or other, with a focus on Consumer or marketing.
Pursuing Masters in Marketing or pursuing MBA is a Plus.

Additional qualifications should include:
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
Strong understanding of marketing, consumer, retail and ability to work and collaborate with global/local partnerships to building integrated sales and marketing campaigns.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent Microsoft* Office* skills.
A team player.

Demonstrated project management experience would be an added advantage.
Team player in a distributed/dispersed structure, initiative taking and self motivation to work with little supervision.
Some broad IT background or technical familiarity with the current/emerging technologies.
Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and develop business ideas with new technologies.

MISA BURSARIES PROGRAMME

Municipal Infrastructure Support Bursaries



The Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) is a component of the Department of Cooperative Governance (DCoG) established in terms of Section 7(2) Schedule 3 of the Public Service Act of 1994 (as amended) and in terms of Gazette No 36634/ 2013, established to build technical capacity of municipalities to undertake efficient planning, delivery, operations and management of municipal infrastructure amongst other functions.

MISA is offering bursaries for undergraduate academic studies for the National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in the
Civil, Electrical Engineering and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) disciplines. MISA strives for excellence
in the context of service delivery and skills development.

Whilst the programme is not exclusively limited to individuals from previously disadvantaged communities, MISA
strives for excellence in the context of the development of a pipeline of Built Environment professionals for service delivery and encourages historically disadvantaged individuals to apply. MISA is an equal opportunity employer and will give preference to qualifying candidates from households with a combined total annual income of R120 000 or no source of income and encourages historically disadvantaged individuals to apply

Matriculants meeting the minimum requirements or qualifying students in their 1st, 2nd 3rd or 4th year of study; Applicants must be South African citizens. Applicants must have already been enrolled or eligible for enrolment with the relevant tertiary institution.
