SAFCOL runs
bursary schemes through its Subsidiary Komatiland Forests, aimed at the
development of students with preference to young people from
historically disadvantaged communities specifically those adjacent to
our operations. SAFCOL offers bursaries opportunities to successful
student who wish to study towards a degree or diploma in the following
priority fields; Forestry, Sawmilling (Wood Technology), Civil and
Mechanical Engineering. Limited space is also available to candidates
wishing to study towards the following fields such as; Accountancy,
Information Technology, Environmental Management, Human Resource
Management and Marketing.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with mathematics and Science or Biology (for Forestry qualifications)
- Proficiency in English
- Comprehensive selection testing will be compulsory
Interested persons are invited to send a short a written motivation stating why they are applying for a bursary from Komatiland Forests, a two page CV, and certified copies of your ID and Grade 12 results or copies of latest academic results with the school stamp or principal’s signature. Closing date is 30 November annually.
