Who must apply for this bursary? | From second to fourth year who have strong academic ability and intend pursuing a career in computer science, informatics/information systems, information technology and in the following branches of engineering: computer/electrical (light current)/electronics/electro-mechanical/industrial. |
Bursary Amount | Scholarships cover the full costs of tuition, accommodation, books and a laptop computer. |

BODENE BURSARIES
Bursary name | Bodene Bursaries |
Bursary Details | These bursaries are conditional on a good academic pass rate into the 2nd year (degrees)/3rd semester (diplomas) and a service contract with Bodene, namely one year’s service with Bodene for each year of the bursary, an internship at Bodene, and experiential learning at Bodene as per Bodene bursary agreement. |
Bursary Duration | This bursary is awarded annually but is renewed upon submission of academic results. |
Who must apply for this bursary? | B.Pharm degree students who have passed their first year and been accepted for second year. National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering students who have passed and completed semesters one and two. BSc (Chemistry) degree students who have passed first year and been accepted for second year. |
Bursary Amount | The value of this bursary is R40 000 |
In-service Training | No service contract is signed |
Bursary Closing Date | This bursary closes on the 2nd week of September but we advise student to apply earlier. |
