Artisan Learnership opportunities are offered in the following fields at Glencore’s Rustenburg Smelter:

  • Diesel Mechanic

  • Boilermaking

  • Rigging

  • Electrical

  • Fitting

  • Instrumentation


Requirements for Learnership

Grade 12

Full N2 in Fitting, Electrical, Instrumentation, Rigging, Boilermaking and Diesel Mechanic

Knowledge of the HSEC System

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure

Candidates will be required to undergo assessments related to the specific trade.

We offer bursaries to x10 learners who require financial assistance for full time tuition at an FET college or a university in order for them to achieve a formal qualification e.g. a certificate, diploma or degree.
