Liberty Bursary Information


Applications for the Actuarial Graduate Recruitment Programme open on 15 June 2012 and close on 31 August 2012. Bursaries are granted for full-time study of actuarial science at various tertiary institutions. Applicants must show the ability to innovate and share our passion for people; thus maintaining our competitive advantage. Successful applicants are expected to do a minimum amount of vacation work during the June and December holidays at the Liberty Head Office in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
Bursaries are reviewed after each examination based on the student's academic performance and are renewed annually. All bursaries are granted on merit, but preference is given to black (African, Coloured and Indian) applicants.

Excellent overall results including a distinction for higher grade Mathematics
A minimum of four distinctions, with distinction in higher grade Mathematics and Physical Science. At tertiary level, students must maintain continuous excellence in academic performance in all subjects. Good leadership qualities and participation in extramural activities such as sports, debating societies, chess clubs and various Olympiads, etc are an added advantage. Apply

Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Bursaries Information 

 

The Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries intends awarding comprehensive bursaries to qualifying applicants pursuing and/ or intending to further their studies in critical scarce skills in agriculture, forestry and fi sheries sectors for the 2013 academic year. The bursary will cover tuition, accommodation, books, meals and monthly allowance. The bursary awards target the previously disadvantaged and impoverished persons from poverty stricken and deep rural communities. Females and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

3. Applicants must complete relevant bursary application forms available from the website address: www.daff.gov.za (Click

4. Successful candidates will be informed from 25 January 2013 after the National Bursary Committee has fi nalised the
selection process. If you do not hear from us by end of January 2013, consider your application to be unsuccessful.
